The biggest risk is buying into an ecosystem generation that does not match your existing plan, especially when critical adapters, quick-release parts, or power accessories are missing. Those gaps can turn a low purchase price into a costly compatibility dead-end.
Used bundles can reduce risk when every included component, firmware generation, and mounting part is clearly documented in one listing. Standalone deals can still be strong value, but only if each part is verified against your target platform and upgrade path first.
